The grand table at Villa Terra, set for an executive seminar
Villa Terra — Seminar in Corsica

A seminar in Corsica,
in a villa of your own.

What you need to know before organising: real capacity, working spaces, seasons, costed budget and access. No spin.

The subjectGuide — 2026 edition

Most seminars in Corsica are held in hotels. That is a default choice, rarely an informed one: you share the venue, you inherit a schedule, and confidentiality stops at the partition wall.

Villa or hotelThe real question

What a private villa does better — and what it does less well.

What it does better

Confidentiality, for real

One group at a time, no other guests in the building, no staff living in overnight unless requested. For a leadership team, a reorganisation or a negotiation, that is not comfort: it is a working condition.

What it does better

The informal hours

The heart of a seminar is not the sessions but what happens between them. A shared house produces those moments — breakfast together, the end of the evening by the pool — that a hotel scatters down its corridors.

What it does less well

Large formats

Beyond 14 people accommodated, you have to lodge elsewhere. If you need three simultaneous rooms, a sound and lighting technician or a 50-person plenary, a seminar hotel remains the right choice. We say so plainly.

Each amount covers the rental of the whole villa, end-of-stay housekeeping (€650) and the tourist tax (€4.40 per person per night). Not included: meals, transfers, speakers and optional services. In low season that comes to €122 per person per night, accommodation complete.
When to comeOur recommendation

May, June, September: the right window.

The climate

Working at 26 °C, not 34 °C

August is the worst period for a seminar: heat, a saturated island, full flights and peak rates. In May, June and September the temperature allows you to work during the day and dine outside in the evening.

The budget

Almost half price

The same week costs €10,906 in low season against €20,505 in August. For identical facilities. It is the single heaviest variable in a seminar budget, and the easiest to arbitrate.

Access

Figari stays served

Direct flights to Figari operate from April to October. In May, June and September flights are plentiful and seats still available at reasonable fares — which is no longer true in August.

Frequently asked questions

Organising a seminar in Corsica

What does a seminar in Corsica in a private villa cost?

For 14 participants over 7 nights, full accommodation at Villa Terra comes to €11,987 in low season, that is €856 per person for the week, or €122 per person per night. This covers the rental of the whole villa (€10,906), end-of-stay housekeeping (€650) and the tourist tax (€4.40 per person per night). It does not include meals, transfers or speakers.

When is the best time for a seminar in Corsica?

May, June, September and early October. The climate is favourable, the island is quiet, flights to Figari remain plentiful and rates are those of low and mid season — €10,906 to €12,208 per week against €20,505 in August. It is also when teams work best: August heat is a handicap for working days.

How many participants can Villa Terra host for a seminar?

14 participants accommodated, in 5 bedrooms. An independent staff studio can house additional personnel. For daytime meetings without accommodation, capacity is higher and is defined with the concierge depending on the format.

Does Villa Terra have a proper meeting room?

The cinema room serves as a screening and presentation room: screen, sound system and complete darkness. The living room, the dining room seating 14, the covered terraces and the pool house serve as additional working spaces, notably for breakout groups. High-speed Wi-Fi covers the entire property.

How do you reach Villa Terra from the mainland?

Figari airport (FSC) is about 45 minutes by road, with seasonal direct flights from Paris, Marseille, Nice, Lyon and several European cities. Ajaccio airport (AJA) is around 2 hours away. Private transfers are arranged by the concierge.

Can the villa be fully privatised?

It is the only rental format offered. Villa Terra hosts one group at a time: the 530 sqm and the 5,300 sqm of grounds are reserved for your group throughout the stay. No other guests, no outside traffic, no staff living in overnight unless requested.

Is a private villa better than a seminar hotel?

It depends on the format. A hotel remains preferable beyond 20 participants, where you need multiple simultaneous rooms or heavy technical services. A private villa suits leadership teams and small groups better: real confidentiality, no other guests, a free schedule and a setting that encourages informal conversation.

2026 rates, whole villa, Saturday-to-Saturday rental. Formats outside a full week are reviewed case by case by the concierge. A firm quote is issued before any commitment.
