The villa is not in town
It stands on the heights of Lecci, a coastal commune some twelve kilometres north of Porto-Vecchio. Fifteen minutes by road separate the gate from the town centre. We would rather write it than let you discover it.
What the town brings
Restaurants, the market, the marina, shops and nightlife. Porto-Vecchio is the reference town of the south: you dine there, you stock up, you leave. That is exactly the use fifteen minutes allows.
What the town costs
From June to September, traffic, parking and packed terraces. A villa in town lives through that season; a villa fifteen minutes away chooses it.
Beaches before the town
Saint-Cyprien and Cala Rossa are ten minutes away — closer than Porto-Vecchio itself. The town is not the compulsory route to the sea, whatever the geography suggests.

Why Lecci rather than Porto-Vecchio
Porto-Vecchio is a town of several thousand whose population multiplies tenfold in summer. Properties in and immediately around the centre live with its traffic and noise. Lecci, with two thousand residents in scattered settlement, offers quiet — and the town remains a quarter of an hour away.
The sea is to the north too
The common confusion is to think every southern beach lies south of Porto-Vecchio. In fact the gulf of Saint-Cyprien and the bay of Cala Rossa are to the north, in the commune of Lecci, and are ten minutes from the villa — without crossing the town.
What changes between June and September
Between eleven and five in July and August, the coastal roads and beach car parks are saturated, and so is the centre of Porto-Vecchio. From the heights you go down before ten or after five, and dine in town on a weekday rather than a Saturday.

Do you have to cross Porto-Vecchio to reach the beach?
No, and that is the advantage of the location. The gulf of Saint-Cyprien and the bay of Cala Rossa are north of Porto-Vecchio, in the commune of Lecci. They are reached without going through the town, which changes everything in July and August.
What is there in Porto-Vecchio?
The shops, the market, the marina, the restaurants and the nightlife of the south of the island. It is the reference town of the area: you go there to dine and stock up, rarely to stay in a villa.
How long from Figari airport?
Thirty-five minutes to the villa. Figari–Sud-Corse airport is nineteen kilometres from Porto-Vecchio. The concierge arranges private transfers (€480 for the week).
Is it better to stay in town or outside it?
For a private villa stay, outside. A property in town or immediately around it lives with the traffic, the parking and the noise from June to September. Fifteen minutes away, the town becomes a chosen destination rather than an imposed environment.
